I love this idea In a world full of apples be a Pineapple shirt. I love the way that people are generously giving their time to help others and share their skills. It’s not a new idea to repair though, very much the opposite, previous generations were much better at it. I think it is back to basics. The way some items are manufactured now though seems to deliberately lend themselves to a throwaway culture to encourage the consumer to buy a replacement. This is a wonderful idea. Little depresses me more than encountering single use, unrepairable domestic items; things like appliance plugs, or something I encountered the other day, a power bank to recharge a phone that could only be used once!

So Apple is charging £1000 for a phone with the technology they claim is new? Edge to edge display, no home button, facial recognition, wireless charging. All been done by Android phones well before Apple released their new phone! Shame a lot of Apple customers don’t see past that. Well, it must be all shiny and new if you have to pay £999 for it, charging customers hundreds more for a phone with old technology in it? No thanks. Samsungs new galaxy note 8 isn’t even that much and it’s got the In a world full of apples be a pineapple shirt if not more technology than the iPhone X. The iPhone 8 is just a faster version of the 7, Apple has no imagination when it comes to designing phones, same boring design nearly every year. Kati Castle you have sense, I've had iPhones don’t get me wrong, but ever since I’ve made the change to android I’ll never look back.
