I went off the script and just spoke from my heart about Demi. This was one of my proudest moments as her friend.To see the lives she’s touched and how she is constantly true to who she is. The world is a better place because of Glaad and Demi. A Russell man who has just become the first openly gay Anglican to become a priest says others can take heart from his ordination. “We have probably felt a little bit excluded and not fully inclusive within the church. My moms can’t get married in the state of Florida but they have been together for 8 years. They visited Massachusetts just to get married and came back to Florida with high heads. Our family is so much like any other. And there will come a day when equality comes to all. Through love, and unity, this earth will not suffer the violence that the LGBT I licked it so it’s mine shirt. I send hope and a pat on the back to all children like me, and I am glad that I have been raised by two wonderful loving moms.
