I love the movies but the EU is even better in terms of portraying the characters. It’s interesting to learn about the different species from a whole host of planets and the way in which they cooperate with each other (to a degree!) – hopefully one day we will be able to get that sort of a state on planet earth with all of mankind realising that they should be on fundamentally the same side. I feel like some of the older movies dot necessarily portray the actual capabilities of various characters due to the limitations in the special effects available at the time, however these can normally be attributed due to the fact that Vader and Sidious are far older than they were in the previous movies.
